How should I dress for my session?
Neutral tones are always suggested, however, you are welcome to dress however you feel most comfortable! If you have any questions or need recommendations regarding your specific shoot, I would be happy to assist. Styling for sessions is one of my favorite things to help clients with!
How are photos delivered?
I will at deliver fully edited images in a private digital gallery. You will receive a password in order to access/download the photos.
What time of day is best to shoot?
My absolute favorite moments to capture are between golden hour and sunset. This would put you about 1-2 hours before sunset.
I do not usually suggest shooting in the middle of the day when the sun is at its highest point.
Do you only shoot on Mt. Pleasant Farms?
Mt. Pleasant Farms is a signature setting, but not the only one. I also travel to desired locations, as well as have access to many historic locations in the area . Together we will choose a backdrop that best reflects your story.
Can I order prints through you?
I do not provide prints. With your digital gallery, you will have access to download your prints and print however you choose.
Can I bring pets (dogs) to my session?
I am an animal lover and am always open to having furry friends join a session. Please kindly make sure that your dog is leashed when bringing to a session (especially one on Mt. Pleasant Farms) as we have many other animals on the farm. Please note, if your dog is easily overstimulated, Mt. Pleasant Farms might not be the best location to bring your dog, as the other animals tend to excite dogs.
Can I get IN with the animals at Mt. Pleasant Farms?
Yes! Select farm animals can be included in your session for an additional charge. Mt. Pleasant Farms is home to our Scottish Highland cattle, goats, bunnies and horses. Animal access is carefully scheduled to ensure their safety and comfort, as well as the best and safest experience for you. Availability may vary by season and animal, and all interactions are guided.
